Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of Cyber Security projects, each offering unique challenges and opportunities to strengthen systems and ensure robust data protection. These experiences have helped me develop a strong foundation in Cyber Security, from regulatory compliance to hands-on management of network and system security. Working on these projects has enhanced my ability to assess, implement, and maintain high-security standards, ensuring that organizations remain resilient in the face of ever-evolving cyber threats.

• ISO 27001 Standards Comparison and Alignment: I conducted a detailed analysis of the technical aspects between previous and updated ISO 27001 standards, identifying key areas of improvement. This helped align both systems and policies with the latest compliance requirements, ensuring that organizations maintained a secure and structured approach to information security management.

• ISO 27001 Accreditation Support: In collaboration with cross-functional teams, I established streamlined procedures to support iterative changes and continuous improvement, ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 27001. My efforts played a key role in maintaining successful accreditation, which not only enhanced the organization's security posture but also bolstered its reputation in the market.

• Cyber Essentials Ownership & Accreditation: I took full ownership of the Cyber Essentials Basic and Plus certifications for multiple clients, providing guidance throughout the process. By ensuring that each client met the necessary security controls, I facilitated successful accreditation, helping them achieve a recognized standard for basic cyber security hygiene and further protecting their networks.

• Firewall Management & Network Security: I managed the patching, maintenance, and configuration of SonicWall Firewalls, ensuring that they were up to date and properly secured. Additionally, I worked with a range of other networking equipment, including Cisco Firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring all devices were hardened against potential vulnerabilities and optimized for secure network operation.

• Group Policy Configuration for Security Compliance: I implemented Group Policies across Windows environments to ensure compliance with industry-leading security frameworks like the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and the Microsoft Security Baseline. By configuring these policies, I helped organizations strengthen their defense mechanisms against a variety of cyber threats and ensured that their systems adhered to best practices for system configuration and user access control.
